Aiken: Floyd County, Texas: Unleased Wildcat Play

OVERVIEW:

A wildcat granite wash prospect. Thick Pennsylvanian and Mississippian detrital beds on the flanks of a well defined, prominent horst block similar to the producing traps in Oldham County to the Northwest. The prospect is well defined by "2D" seismic control, with one well confirming the existence of the horst. Additional "3D" seismic is recommended

Objectives include the detrital beds as well as the Strawn limestone, Mississippian limestones, and Ellenburger. Similar traps in the basin produce gas rich in condensate. The estimated oil and condensate recovery 2,500,000 barrels based on look alike traps to the Northwest where there has been rapid development of this type of production. A 10,000 foot wildcat is required to test all objectives. Acreage is open for leasing. This is a higher risk play and should be combined with several low risk prospects.
